Professional Visit Pass (PVP)
A short-term pass for foreign experts providing specific services or training in Malaysia.
Who is it for?
Technical experts, artists, consultants on short-term assignments (usually up to 12 months). Not for direct employment.

2-4 weeks.
Key Requirements

Dependant Pass (DP)

Students enrolled in a Malaysian educational institution (from primary school to university).

Guardian Pass
Allows one parent or legal guardian to stay in Malaysia to accompany their child who is studying on a Student Pass.
Who is it for?
One parent/legal guardian of an international student under 18 studying in Malaysia.

Usually processed along with the Student Pass application, 4-6 weeks.

Key Requirements
Proof of annual income >$24,000 USD, proof of remote work contract or clients.
Malaysia Tech Entrepreneur Programme (MTEP)
A pass for foreign tech entrepreneurs to establish or expand their business in Malaysia.
Who is it for?
Founders or co-founders of tech startups with a strong, innovative business idea. Requires endorsement from MDEC.
